If it plugs in or connects to WiFi, we probably repair it. Here's the full list — and what to expect when you call.
A computer that takes five minutes to boot, freezes when you open Chrome, or spins the little loading circle forever — that's not normal and you don't have to live with it. Most of the time, a slow computer isn't broken. It's clogged with startup bloat, fragmented storage, or it's running on an old spinning hard drive that's been obsolete for a decade.
We do a full tune-up: clear out junk startup programs, update drivers, scan for hidden malware, and — if the drive is the bottleneck — swap it for a solid-state drive (SSD). After an SSD upgrade, most computers boot in under 20 seconds instead of several minutes.
Call (440) 596-0009 for a free estimateIf your computer has popups you can't close, a browser that keeps redirecting to weird websites, or a message claiming "Microsoft" needs you to call a phone number — your computer is infected or being targeted by a scam. We remove it. Every trace.
We don't just run one scanner and call it done. We check startup entries, scheduled tasks, browser extensions, and the file system for the real source of the infection. Once it's cleaned, we install proper protection so it doesn't come back.
Important: if you already called the phone number on one of these popups, stop and call us. They may still have remote access to your computer.
Call (440) 596-0009 nowDead spots in the back bedroom. Streaming that buffers every 30 seconds. A printer that "disappears" from the network once a week. Routers that need to be rebooted daily. These are all fixable.
We come out (or help remotely), figure out what's actually wrong — it might be the router, the placement, interference, or the way your ISP set things up — and get your whole house or office running on stable, fast WiFi. For larger homes we can set up a mesh system that gives you strong signal everywhere.
If your hard drive clicked, crashed, or the computer won't boot and you have years of photos, documents, or business files on it — don't panic and don't keep trying to turn it on. Every restart can make it worse.
We recover data from failed hard drives, dead SSDs, accidentally formatted drives, and corrupted partitions. The sooner you stop using the drive, the better the chances. Bring it in and we'll tell you honestly whether the data is recoverable and what it'll cost.
Call (440) 596-0009 — time mattersWindows 10 support ended in October 2025. If your computer is still running Windows 10, it's no longer getting security updates, which means new viruses and exploits will work on your machine without any patch coming.
Not every computer can run Windows 11 — Microsoft added hardware requirements that exclude older machines. We'll check whether your computer is eligible, do a clean upgrade if it is, or recommend honest alternatives if it isn't (sometimes a small hardware upgrade makes it eligible, sometimes a new computer is the smarter move — and we'll tell you which).
Power button pressed, nothing happens. Or it turns on, shows a logo, and then dies. Or blue screen. Or a black screen with a blinking cursor. These are all different problems with different fixes — anything from a $5 part to a full motherboard failure.
Bring it in. We'll diagnose it at no charge and let you know exactly what's wrong and whether it's worth fixing. If it's not worth fixing, we'll say so — and we can help you pick and set up a new one without overselling.
Got a new laptop or desktop? We'll set it up properly: transfer all your files, photos, and documents from the old machine, install the programs you need, set up your email and printer, configure Windows so it doesn't nag you every five minutes, and show you what's where. When you sit down to use it, everything just works.
Cracked screens, dead keyboards, failed hinges, swollen batteries, broken power jacks, fans that sound like jet engines, desktops that randomly shut off — we fix all of it. Every major brand: Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, Apple, Microsoft Surface, custom-built. If we can get parts for it, we can fix it.
The two upgrades that make the biggest difference to a slow computer:
Both are usually done same-day and bring a lot of old computers back to life for a fraction of replacement cost.
We work with small businesses on the West Shore that are too small for a full-time IT person but need someone reliable when things go wrong. Network setup, multi-computer maintenance, backup systems (including cloud and RAID), Windows Server setup, email and shared file systems, and emergency response when something critical breaks.
No contracts required — most of our small business clients call us when they need us. But if you want a maintenance plan, we can put one together that fits your size.
Call (440) 596-0009 about business serviceOur main focus is computers, but we help with phone and tablet issues too — see our phone & tablet page for details on what we do and don't handle.
That's fine. Call us and describe it in plain words. We'll tell you what it probably is and what it'll cost to fix.
